The interior floor space of Stormont totals nearly 5 acres and the building stands at the end of a mile long driveway in 300 acres of parkland. Stormont is a public park and all visitors can enjoy the grounds and visit the Great Hall. Groups can visit the Parliament Buildings for a 2 hour presentation, activity and tour.

These recommended guided tours will take in the history of two of the most affected areas of Belfast throughout the troubles. Spend a half day visiting significant parts of the Falls Rd including the International Wall, Bobby Sands Mural, Clonard Monastery and Bombay street, where the troubles erupted in 1969. The museum has a permanent exhibition on “The Troubles” and holds and collects material evidence relating to the social, economic and political history of Ireland, with particular emphasis on Ulster from 1600 and Northern Ireland from 1921.
