The largest is the Christmas market in the old town of Spandau. At the historical Gendarmenmarkt Christmas market students can see stands with glassblowers, winter delicacies and origami art. The nostalgic Christmas market at the Opernpalais has an impressive array of artisans from all over the world, amusement rides and traditional culinary delights such as roasted almonds.
