A very good standard of accommodation, care of the well-known MEININGER Hotels chain. Strategic location for visits in both former West and former East Berlin.
Location
The hotel is located in the up and coming Prenzlauer Berg area, with the historical Jewish cemetery around the corner. The TV tower can be seen from the hotel. Two of the most famous places of East Berlin, Hackescher Markt and Alexanderplatz, are barely 15 minutes walk away and there is a flea market nearby at ‘Mauerpark’. The underground station ‘Senefelderplatz’ on line U2 connects the east and west areas of the city, and is literally opposite the hotel. Very nearby the hotel is the ‘Kulturbrauerei’ a complex of cinemas, restaurants and galleries with lots to offer young people. There are many trendy shops, bars and restaurants in the vicinity.
